Whatever happened to learning your ABC, then sentence structure, then Shakespeare?
Whatever happened to learning to count, then multiplication, then calculus?
No, because learning those things in a naive young mind won't lead them to vote Labour in the future. In fact, more education will no doubt prevent them from being a mouth-breathing, left-loving, England-hating slobberer. There have to be more important things to drill into a child's head.
Drilling Islam into a schoolchild's head is difficult because of prior legislation. For example, the 1944 Education Act means that anybody can be withdrawn from religious education if they so choose. In 1988, the Education Reform Act said that the majority of RE in England had to be based on Christianity. So how do you get the message across if children won't attend the lessons?
Well, Labour had the dandy idea to nurture a generation which would vote for them by putting religious multiculturalism in all lessons - including PE.
Even Michael Gove, who with his calls for no retakes at exam level and reintroducing Latin, has fallen to the pressure from the lefty teachers whom he represents. Maybe he forgot what his lying "Conservative" Party said in 2012.
The new history curriculum now omits the Battle of Waterloo, but in a series of optional World History units, includes Islamic history. No other religion's history is mentioned. Well surely as this is History and not Religious Education, the true story of Mohammed would have to be told, or will we get the same flying horse to seven heavens and seven hells lark? As far as I know, there is no option to withdraw from History...
He no doubt came to such a decision from the lobbying of the sinister Muslim Council of Britain who said that his History currculum had no mention of Muslims or Islam. They called for "anybody who cares about the education of our children" to moan with them for the dubious, one-sided perspective of the Muslim contribution to Europe to be mentioned. God, how many Polish groups were lobbying? There' s a lot of Poles in this country, and they made such contributions as King John III Sobieski who won the 1683 Battle of Vienna to save the West from ... you know who! I guess the Poles realise that they are living in England!
And yesterday, we had the delightful dhimmi Head Lynn Small, of Littleton Green Community School in South Staffs, who in the equally menacing Comic Sans font blackmailed and hectored the parents of the kids at the school (which according to OFSTED, "requires improvement"):
Has she read this? As President Eisenhower said during the Civil Rights Era, it's counter-productive to force people to like each other. It makes more animosity. Society is not political. Let it work itself out.
